Despite the fact that the oil lasted 8 days, and despite all of the answers to the "why isn't Chanukah 7 days" question, it seems to me that the restoration of the Beis HaMikdash was a single event, and therefore only one of the days of Chanukah (presumably the first) would have that Biblical status.
