Daf Yomi - Yoma 53 - Stone, not the Aron

Would the kohen gadol be required to walk backwards in the times of the second Beis Hamikdosh, when there was only the stone there and not the Aron?

In Teshuvos Radvaz, ihe states that one should distance himself from the entrance of the dome of the rock 11 cubits for the even hashesiya is located there. Binyon Tziyon says that according to his calculation, it should be 38 cubit feet.
